  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL (the page you visited previously)
  • Hostname of the accessing computer (IP address)
  • Time of the server request
This data is used solely to ensure the technical stability and security of the website. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

b) Cookies

This website uses cookies.

  • Technical Cookies: These are strictly necessary for the website to function properly. They do not require consent.
  • Analytical/Marketing Cookies: If used (e.g., Google Analytics), these are only activated if you give your explicit consent via the cookie banner. You can change your preferences at any time.
Legal basis: § 25 TDDDG (Consent for accessing terminal equipment).

3. Third-Party Services

Google Web Fonts

To display fonts uniformly, this site may use Web Fonts provided by Google. To comply with German privacy standards, these fonts should be hosted locally on my server. If they are loaded from Google’s servers, your IP address is transmitted to Google in the USA. In that case, we request your consent via the cookie banner.

Embedded Video Content (YouTube / Vimeo)

My website may feature embedded videos (e.g., showreels). When you play a video, the provider (YouTube/Google or Vimeo) may receive your IP address and set cookies for tracking or advertising purposes.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (Consent).

Social Media Links

I provide links to social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube). These are simple hyperlinks, not active plugins. No data is transferred to these providers simply by visiting my site; data is only transferred if you actively click on the social media icon.

4. Data Transfers to Non-EU Countries

Some services mentioned above (e.g., Google, YouTube) are based in the USA. Data transfer occurs based on the “EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework” or Standard Contractual Clauses, provided you have given your consent where necessary.

5. Your Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of Access (Art. 15 GDPR): You can ask for a copy of the data I hold about you.
  • Right to Rectification (Art. 16 GDPR): You can ask to correct inaccurate data.
  • Right to Erasure (Art. 17 GDPR): You can ask to have your data deleted (“Right to be forgotten”).
  • Right to Restriction of Processing (Art. 18 GDPR).
  • Right to Data Portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
  • Right to Object (Art. 21 GDPR): You can object to processing based on legitimate interests.

To exercise these rights, please contact me at: desalvo@gmx.de.

7. Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection laws, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Germany, this is usually the data protection officer of the federal state (Land) where the controller is based (e.g., Berlin).
